Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse.  Each year, Operation Christmas Child collects and distributes thousands of shoeboxes to children all over the world.  The shoeboxes are filled with toys, school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, and other things so that the children can experience Christmas.  Samaritan's Purse uses this opportunity to proclaim the Gospel and to disciple families all over the world.

Elders Baptist Church participates in Operation Christmas Child in three ways:

1. We collect shoeboxes as a church.

2. We are a Collection Point.  We receive shoeboxes from our region and then send the boxes on to the Distribution Center.

3. We serve at the Distribution Center.  The Distribution Center is where the shoeboxes are processed and then sent to the ships that will take them around the world.

Elders Baptist Church has a goal page on the Operation Christmas Child website.  Our goal this year is 250 shoeboxes.  One way that you can contribute is by building a shoebox online.  To do this, click HERE.
